In the Rocky Horror Picture Show, there are several references to 50's B movies or even older, if only in the creation of a monster : "Frankenstein" (and Space Magenta's hairstyle in "The bride of Frankenstein" and in the name of the Galaxy Transylvania : "Dracula".

During the song of the opening credits "Science Fiction/Double Feature", not less than 11 Science Fiction movies as well as 8 celebrities acting in them, are named:

Then something went wrong for Fay Wray and King Kong

In the "Sweet Transvestite" scene, Frank proposes to Brad and Janet :

During the song "Eddie", in the dinner scene, the picture of Eddie's mother can be seen in the Narrator's book. But actually, it is Meatloaf dressed up as a woman just for the occasion, but once again, it's a reference to something...

 

At the end of "Wild and Untamed thing", after Space Riff and Space Magenta entered, Frank asks Columbia to turn on the spotlight

 

Riff Raff opens un clock-coffin under the horrified eye of Janet and this coffin has a little story:

 

Frank has the number 4711 tatoed on his right thigh. But what the hell does it mean? ?
